The rice stems are used for making some carpets, mats and household items. The straw is used in tilling the pads and as tilling for fragile items. The hulls of rice are used in manufacturing creams and cosmetic powders because they contain useful oils vitamins A and E, which are useful for the skin. Moreover, the rice grains, after grinding, may be used as a cosmetic substance.
The rice paste is used for some purposes instead of glue. The rice stems are grinded for manufacturing of paper in China and Japan, or treated in a special way for making ropes and brick. Rice is also used in decorating some portraits and ornaments after painting the rice grains with different colors and then utilizing them in making some ornamental shapes. But, the strangest use of rice is for the production of alcohol and hence used as fuel for cars and for the generation of electric power after being transformed into cellulose. The paste extracted from the hulls is used for cleaning and whitening the teeth. It is also used in soap manufacturing.
